How to choose an outdoor sorting station
An outdoor station must withstand rain, impacts and footfall, and be emptied easily by the cleaning team. Five criteria make the difference.

1. Volume, based on emptying frequency
A container must last between two collections. See 50/60 L or 90/100 L.
2. The material
Painted or treated steel, stainless steel, solid wood on a steel frame: wood brings warmth, stainless steel durability, painted steel the choice of RAL colours.
3. Fixing and protection
Floor-fixing kit for open sites, rain lids, optional ashtray for smoking areas.
4. The number of streams

5. Signage
Replaceable pictograms: packaging-waste containers will carry harmonised European labels from 2028 at the earliest (PPWR regulation).
