# Indoor or outdoor recycling bin: what are the differences?

## Short answer

An outdoor station is designed for rain, impacts and vandalism: treated steel or stainless steel, solid wood, lids or roof, floor-fixing kit, large volumes (90/100 L). An indoor station favours footprint, hygiene and design: painted steel, pedal or swing lid, 50/60 L volumes. Both take a choice of sorting pictograms.

## Outdoor

Forecourts, business parks, shopping centres: steel or stainless steel, solid wood, rain covers, ground fixing. Models: HANKO, KUOKIO, OSLO, see all.

## Indoor

Offices, halls, shopping arcades: compact lines, self-closing lids or pedals, castors or an instructions banner. Models: ANDROMEDA, AURIGA, VAXJO, see all.
