# Which recycling bin for offices?

## Short answer

In offices, the streams produced on a daily basis are mainly paper, packaging (plastics and metals) and, in break areas, food waste. A 3-stream sorting station (paper, packaging, residual waste) is generally installed per open space or thoroughfare, and a station with a food waste stream is installed in each cafeteria or break room.

## Where to place the stations

- Reception and halls: one visible station, 3 streams.
- Open spaces: one 3-stream station per circulation area rather than a bin per desk.
- Cafeterias and break rooms: add the biowaste stream.
